Low impact Kempo Karate—
involves movements with less direct force on the body and is done in a softer way.
By placing less stress on the body to reduce risk of injury and to assist those
that have joint damage, recovering from injury, looking for lower intensity
exercise with a means to stay healthy and active.
This a great
way to prefect movements and the atmosphere makes it easier to remember as the
mind is also calmer. This class will also utilize slower movements to enhance
balance and control.
If you feel
like you have had a stressful day, then this is a wonderful opportunity to
still have a workout without feeling like you must keep up a pace that might be
to vigorous for your mental state and/or tired body.
