Our Leadership Program

Our Leadership Program serves as a foundation for our adolescent students, guiding them in the art of leading by example and contributing positively to their communities. Through structured learning and hands-on experiences, adolescents not only develop essential leadership skills but also cultivate a spirit of giving back. Master Duffy's vision of our Leadership has bridged generations, empowering youths to become the leaders of tomorrow.

In the late '90s, Master Duffy launched our the program with just one student, setting the stage for its growth into the impactful initiative it is today. Within the program, students are given the opportunity to not only hone their teaching skills but also actively engage in supporting the community. Through participation in fundraising initiatives for local nonprofits, collecting donations, and various community service activities, students contribute to making a positive impact beyond the dojo walls. This approach allows our adolescent students to develop not only as martial artists but also as well-rounded individuals who understand the importance of giving back and supporting those in need.

Students aged 7-18 are encouraged to participate in our leadership program, regardless of their belt rank. Whether you are a white belt just starting your martial arts journey or a black belt with years of experience, all students are welcome. Upon graduating from the leadership program, those interested in further involvement have the opportunity to become heads of the program alongside Master Duffy and Master Taylor.

Leadership has played a significant role in shaping the journeys of numerous students in our dojo throughout the years. Through our programs, students have been able to cultivate essential skills such as confidence, professionalism, public speaking, and the ability to take initiative in the world. The impact of leadership training has been profound, empowering individuals to navigate various challenges with poise and determination. As we look back on the countless lives touched and transformed by Leadership, we are reminded of the lasting influence it has had on our students' personal and professional growth. Leadership is made possible through the support of the TGS Foundation, our affiliated non-profit organization. The TGS Foundation is dedicated to community outreach, striving to make a positive impact through various programs and initiatives.
